Primary Futures week from 13 – 17 October 2014 will celebrate and raise the profile of primary schools whilst focussing on helping children understand the link between their learning, the world of work and future opportunities.
During the week of 13 to 17 October, we are encouraging schools across the country to open their doors to visitors from their local communities including MPs, councillors and representatives from the business world, to see for themselves the great work going on raising aspirations and preparing children for positive futures. We are delighted to report over 100 MPs have already signed up to join us.
The initiative is part of the Primary Futures project led by NAHT in partnership with the charity Education and Employers Taskforce to help raise the aspirations of our children. You can find out more about Primary Futures by logging onto the website where you can also read some of the recent case studies carried out across England.
